UI Overhaul Complete. Kinda Looks Like a Real Game Now
Spent the better part of June rebuilding the UI from the ground up. The old version worked. It just looked like it was built by someone who was figuring things out as they went. Which it was. The new version is considerably less embarrassing.

First Playable Prototype and Video! It Actually Works
Posted the first video of a playable prototype today. Enemies move, the planet shoots back, nova mines explode, resources accumulate, and nothing crashes for at least three minutes straight. For a first prototype, I'll consider it a win.

Development officially started today. The concept: an infinite sci-fi idle tower defense with deep card and upgrade systems. The reality so far: a planet that sits there spinning while I figure out how Godot handles collision layers. Every game starts somewhere.
